Feature & Follow Friday is hosted by: Parajunkee and Alison Can Read. This week's question:
Q: Go count the number of unread books sitting on your shelf. How many?
Hmm, just counting fiction I would say probably around 80 or so. But the majority of them are classics so I've never really went on a reading binge with them. I like classics and I eventually want to read some of them but it's so hard to just sit down with them sometimes.
This Friday's Question:
Reading Resolutions: What are some of your reading goals for the new year?
I made the goal at GoodReads to read at least 50 books this year but I'm hoping to read more. I really didn't have any other resolutions but I'll probably try to read some books that are outside of my comfort zone as well.
I went through a classics phase and read a whole bunch. I don't think I've picked up many since that... Good luck with your reading goals! New follower. Happy Friday!

Yeah, most of the stuff I'm yet to read are also classics! I have to be in a certain mood to read those. They are so rich and awesome when I do but they are hard to sit with.
ReplyDeleteNew follower! Love your blog name :D

Hello! I think venturing outside your comfort zone is a good idea --- shakes things up a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteI should probably make an effort to do more of that, myself.
I wish I only had 80! It would leave more room for new books!

That's a good number, I wish I had less on my shelf right now!

It's always a great idea to push your reading boundaries some of my favorite books are ones that I never would have picked up on my own!
ReplyDeleteHey, at least we'll get some classic reading done in British Novels this semester. Ready to hit Bronte? Lol!
ReplyDeleteHopping through. I'm with you on classics. I want to read them but it's hard to get through them.
ReplyDeleteMy Hop
I tend not to make too many resolutions either!
ReplyDeleteMostly classics? Probably a quarter of mine are! I know what you mean about reading loads of them though- it just doesn't happen. They're amazing books, but not the kind you can just read in a day. You need the time to stop and think about them and absorb what you're reading.
I own a few classics as well but always end up choosing something else to read instead of them, new follower, here's mine
